The Peninsula Pilots rallied from behind to defeat the Edenton Steamers at Historic Hicks Field on Thursday night.
Edenton entered the top of the 9th with a two-run lead, but Peninsula was able to score two in the 9th and escape a jam in the bottom half of the inning, sending it to extras.
In the top of the 10th, the Pilots plated four runs and went on to win 8-6, winning their first game in Edenton this season.
Isaiah Paige made his first start for the Teal and Black and held the Pilots without a hit through the first four frames. The Michigan product went six innings, allowing two runs and striking out nine. He departed in the seventh with a 3-2 lead.
Colin Adams hit his sixth homerun of the season in the bottom of the fifth to hand the Clams their first lead of the ballgame.

Nick Torres and Kross Robinson combined to keep the Pilots off the board in the 7th and 8th inning.
Head coach Russ Burroughs turned to Robinson to begin the 9th inning. The right-hander issued a leadoff walk and responded to get a ground ball out. Sy Snedeker then lined an opposite field double to bring the Pilots within one.
With two outs, Peninsula had the tying run at third and Drew Ashley up at the dish. The first pitch got past Adams and Snedeker came on in to tie the ball game.
Leading off the bottom of the ninth, Rob Weissheier flied a ball out to right field that went in and out of the glove of Ashley. Wessisheier was husting all the way and ended up at third base.
The next two Steamers struck out and Jacob Pilarski was able to escape without allowing the winning run to score.
Peninsula went on to score four runs with two hits in the top of the 10th. Edenton was able to get two runs in the bottom half of the frame, but the Pilots stopped the bleeding and went on to win.
