Plan to expand Shaktishree to cover five academic years
Odisha's Shaktishree scheme, aimed at ensuring a secure and supportive environment for female higher education students, is set for a five-year rollout from 2025-26. The initiative includes 'Shakti Apas' (mentors), self-defence training, mental health support, and enhanced campus safety measures like CCTV surveillance and audits across numerous institutions.
