Mahanadi tribunal gets 3rd extension till Jan 2027
The Mahanadi Water Disputes Tribunal's tenure has been extended by nine months to January 2027. This comes as Odisha and Chhattisgarh are planning a chief ministers' meeting to amicably resolve their water dispute. Significant progress has been noted after numerous technical committee meetings, paving the way for a joint legal and administrative team meeting soon.
