'Iran has put up a demand that Lebanon should be included in the ceasefire'
A US government plane carrying top US officials landed in the Pakistani capital Islamabad on Saturday for peace talks with Iran. Washington and Tehran are set to begin negotiations to permanently end the six-week-old Iran war that has killed thousands of people across the Middle East.
"These talks are supposed to begin in the coming hours", said Shazaib Wallah, France 24 correspondent in Islamabad, Pakistan. Yet in a last-minute hurdle, the "Iranian side has put up a demand that Lebanon should be included in the ceasefire", he added.
