Success continues to follow the prominent hip-hop entrepreneur and notorious social media figure 50 Cent.
Hulu has commissioned a three-part documentary chronicling the ascent of 50 Cent, with reports indicating a $75 million investment from the streaming service for the project.
What’s The New 50 Cent Documentary About?
As reported by Deadline, “the definitive” documentary will chronicle the evolution of 50 Cent—from the streets of Queens to global cultural dominance—exploring how he relentlessly reinvented himself across music, business, and film while redefining the rules of power, influence, and success. Through an intimate and revealing lens, the series portrays a figure who has consistently transformed conflict and adversity into enduring cultural impact.”
Mandon Lovett, the filmmaker behind projects like Origins of Hip-Hop, For Khadija: The French Montana Story, and the Hulu series Rap Caviar Presents, has been tapped to direct the documentary. G-Unit Film & Television, 50 Cent's own production company, will also serve as a producer for the upcoming series.
To mark this latest milestone, the Get Rich or Die Tryin' creator followed his usual pattern of sharing successes on Instagram. He posted, “Positive vibes ???? focus on the win QGTM (Queens Get The Money),” expressing his signature focus on victory.

“I told you I’m the Algorithm,” Fif said. “YouTube streams for March 2026, it’s not about numbers. OK IF YOU SAY SO! LOL”
The rapper highlighted several musical rivals on the same list, such as Jay-Z, T.I., and Rick Ross, during his social media commentary. Adding a lighthearted jab, 50 Cent also included T.I.'s son, Domani, in his post, punctuating the mention with a grinning, squinting emoji.
