‘Victory for election integrity’: Leftist state forced to remove 372,000 ineligible voters from rolls
A far-left state run by a homosexual governor whose all-Democrat state Supreme Court went completely political in trying to remove President Donald Trump from the 2024 ballot has been forced to remove 372,000 ineligible names from its voter rolls.
In a state where all mail-in ballot elections open the door for fraud, the ineligible voter names now have been removed as the result of a lawsuit by government watchdog Judicial Watch, which reported this week on its accomplishment.
“This is a major Judicial Watch victory for election integrity,” said organization President Tom Fitton. “Our lawsuit caused removal of 372,000 outdated registrations from Colorado’s voter rolls—which is a massive step toward cleaner elections.”
The organization reported the action is the result of its lawsuit over misbehavior of the state’s Democrat majority.
“Under the National Voter Registration Act of 1993 (NVRA), states must take reasonable steps to remove ineligible voters—such as those who have died, moved, or become inactive—while protecting eligible voters’ rights,” Judicial Watch explained.
The lawsuit against Colorado was filed in 2020 and in March 2023, Jena Griswold, the leftist secretary of state there, agreed to a settlement involving the removal of those names.
Judicial Watch said its voter integrity campaign now has led to the removal of six million ineligible names from state voter lists nationwide.
The organization previously succeeded in removing 735,000 ineligible voters from state rolls in Kentucky, more than 918,000 from New York City’s rolls alone, more than 1.2 million in Los Angeles, and more in Pennsylvania, North Carolina, Kentucky, Ohio and lawsuits remain pending against Oregon and Illinois.
