'Runway' Lyrics: Lady Gaga & Doechii Drop New Song for 'Devil Wears Prada 2' Soundtrack - Listen Now!
Lady Gaga and Doechii have dropped their new song “Runway” from the soundtrack for the upcoming movie, The Devil Wears Prada 2.
The title of the song is not just a reference to the runway that fashion models walk at shows, it also refers to the magazine in the movie. Meryl Streep‘s Miranda Priestly is the Editor-in-Chief of Runway and the movie follows what happens in the offices of the publication.
In the chorus of the song, the artists sing, “Monday through Sunday / I can turn the dance floor into a runway / Turn it up, turn around / Bitch.”
The song ends with Gaga‘s outro, singing “you were born for the runway” over and over.
