Has Justin Rose Ever Won the Masters?
Justin Rose, the English professional golfer, first burst onto the scene when he was only 17, after finishing in fourth place as an amateur at the 1998 Open Championship. Despite his strong start, the golfer has never won the Masters. Rose has had multiple strong runs at Augusta National, but the green jacket has remained just out of reach.
Rose's best Masters finish came in 2015, when he finished runner-up behind Jordan Spieth. He has also contended on several other occasions, including two other runner-up finishes, cementing himself as one of the most consistent performers at Augusta without ever breaking through for the title.
Justin Rose's Major Record
While Rose has never won the Masters, he is a major champion. He won the 2013 U.S. Open at Merion Golf Club, becoming the first Englishman to win the U.S. Open since Tony Jacklin in 1970. That remains his only major title.
Rose has finished in the top 10 at Augusta multiple times throughout his career and has been a consistent presence on major leaderboards for more than two decades. He was also the first golfer to win the Olympic gold medal in golf in 112 years when the sport returned to the Olympics in 2016 in Rio.
Justin Rose at the 2026 Masters
Rose is in contention at the 2026 Masters, where he is competing for the 21st time, currently in ninth place on the leaderboard. Whether he can finally break through and win his first green jacket remains to be seen.
