Natasha Lyonne Was Removed from a Delta Red-Eye Still Wearing Her Sheer Premiere Outfit (Photos)
Natasha Lyonne was removed from a Delta red-eye from Los Angeles to New York on the night of the Euphoria season 3 premiere.
She was still wearing her full premiere look, including a 100% sheer top, black lacy tights, long black coat, and oversized wraparound sunglasses. She’d walked the red carpet at the TCL Chinese Theatre hours earlier in the same outfit that quickly went viral. She posted on Instagram afterward, “So grateful to be a part of this legendary show,” sharing several photos of the look.
Flight attendants repeatedly asked her to close her laptop and fasten her seatbelt before takeoff. Witnesses said she appeared disoriented and didn’t respond. When a crew member finally got her attention, she startled and said, “Ah! You scared me!” The captain had already begun taxiing but turned the plane back to the gate. A Delta employee boarded and asked if she needed medical attention. Lyonne asked, “Where are we?” and was told they were still in LA. She got off the plane without incident, snacking on pretzels. The captain later told passengers a traveler “wouldn’t follow some basic commands.” The flight was delayed over an hour. No police were called. No charges were filed.
Lyonne, 46, was announced in October 2025 as one of 18 new cast members for Euphoria season 3. Her role hasn’t been disclosed. HBO and Sam Levinson have kept every new character under wraps. She’s credited in all 8 episodes. The season premieres April 12. She’s best known for Orange Is the New Black, Russian Doll, and Poker Face.
In January 2026 she publicly shared that she had relapsed after nearly a decade of sobriety. She posted about recovery being a lifelong process. By mid-March she said she was “doing a whole lot better and back on her feet.”
Neither Lyonne nor her representatives have commented on the Delta incident. Delta has declined to comment. She was scheduled to appear on The Drew Barrymore Show the following day but didn’t make the appearance.
