More than 350 come along to Meet the Team
A massive thank you to everyone who joined us at the Gallagher today for the Meet the Team event.
Organised by Stones in the Community, Maidstone United’s charity, more than 350 supporters turned up to watch George Elokobi and Craig Fagan put the team through their paces ahead of Saturday’s away match against Horsham.
After training, numerous autograph posters and shirts were signed, and plenty of selfies were taken.
Julie Palmer, Operations Director at Stones in the Community, said: “The turnout was amazing and the feedback was fabulous. There were lots of very happy young fans as they left.
“Thank you to George and Craig for opening up the training session, and to all the players for signing the never‑ending autographs.
“Thanks also to all the schools we work with for getting the message out to parents about this free event.”
Having watched training, the next opportunity to see the Stones play at the Gallagher is on Saturday 18 April. Tickets for the match against Worthing are available to buy via the Fanbase app or website.
