Keanu Reeves Has This Vulgar, 7-Word Advice for Aspiring Actors
Keanu Reeves is one of the most accomplished actors in Hollywood today. With classic movies under his belt like The Matrix, Hardball, and John Wick, his respect in the industry is well-earned.
The 61-year-old recently sat down for an interview with E! News, appearing alongside veteran actress Cameron Diaz and Golden Globe winner Matt Bomer to promote their new Jonah Hill-directed Apple TV film, Outcome.
In the interview, Reeves had a very direct message for young actors looking to break into show business.
Keanu Reeves' Vulgar Advice
“Try not to be a f*****g a******,” he said, summing up his thoughts in a succinct seven words. “And go to work and respect who you’re working with until they prove they don’t get your respect. Try not to be [an a******]. It might not work out, but try.”
Diaz followed up with a similar sentiment regarding how young people should handle the pressures of fame.
"I would say there's no handbook or manual on being famous, so you have to write your own and follow your own manuscript," she said. "You got to just make it your own. You can't really do it - you don't know what it's going to be. Reach out to other people that you admire, the way that they do it, and ask them for some advice."
Keanu Reeves' Stolen Jewelry Returned
In an announcement made in November 2025, the FBI confirmed that several pieces from Keanu Reeves' jewelry collection had been returned to him. Among the recovered items were six wristwatches, most notably a custom Rolex Submariner featuring a John Wick engraving. Valued at $125,000, the collection was originally seized by the Policía de Investigaciones de Chile (PDI) during a raid conducted in early 2025.
Akil Davis, the FBI Los Angeles Field Office's assistant director in charge, highlighted the case as a demonstration of the strong global partnership between the FBI, Chilean authorities, and the Los Angeles Police Department.
“While burglary is a local crime in the United States, the FBI works collaboratively with the Los Angeles Police Department and others to share intelligence via our Major Theft Task Force and through other channels. These crimes affect celebrities and non-public figures alike, and the FBI is committed to assisting our local partners in combating this scourge affecting the lives of innocent victims.”
Reeves also spoke about the items being returned.
“It is with profound gratitude and appreciation that I am writing this letter. Thank you so much for all your effort, dedication, professionalism, and cross-border cooperation. My warmest regards, Keanu.”
John Wick’s Mustang Goes to Auction
In the same month, the 1969 Mustang from the film, which Reeves’ character John Wick famously drove, was listed for auction. Frequently called "The Hitman," this vehicle was specifically customized for the movie and is projected to sell for between $120,000 and $230,000.
At the time of this publication, there have been no further updates regarding the status of the vehicle's sale.
