Scottie Scheffler is going to win the Masters.
Well, that's if his latest career trend continues. Scheffler won the Masters for the first time in 2022 followed by a top-10 finish in 2023 before winning the tournament once again in 2024.
After finishing in solo fourth place in 2025, Scheffler's run of winning the Masters in even years could continue as he enters as the heavy favorite to wear the green jacket once again.
Scottie Scheffler, Wife Meredith Announce Major Personal News
Just a few days before the Masters, Scheffler and his wife Meredith announced the birth of their second son, Remy.
"We had another boy a couple of weeks ago, and, yeah, it's been really nice and fun," Scheffler told Golf Channel's Cara Banks. "I'm really glad they were able to travel with me this week and you know, my wife is a trooper and brought the boys this week and, yeah it's been fun."
Scheffler abruptly withdrew from the Texas Children's Houston Open, which sparked concern about a possible injury, but the four-time major champion just wanted to be home with his family for the birth.
The two-time Masters champion has not played competitively since the Players Championship, which he finished in a tie for 22nd.
Scottie Scheffler Wants Son Bennett to Get Into Golf
Scheffler, who won two major titles in 2025, jokingly told reporters that the toddler “doesn’t know what a golf ball is” and rather enjoys “eating his golf club," he added, per Fox Sports, "I hope Bennett's able to get into golf one day."
"You know, the game of golf taught me a tremendous amount,” he continued. “You learn a lot of good life lessons by playing golf. So I hope he can play it one day and I hope he enjoys it as much as I do."
Family is Most Important for Scottie Scheffler
Family is the most important thing in Scheffler's life – even hinting that he’d give golf up if his wife, who he started dating in high school, said it was impacting his home life.
“This is not the be-all and end-all. This is not the most important thing in my life. That’s why I wrestle with, why is this so important to me? Because I’d much rather be a great father than I would be a great golfer. That’s what’s more important to me,” he said.
Scheffler tees off with Robert MacIntyre and Gary Woodland at 1:44 p.m. ET in the penultimate group.
