Shannen Doherty's First Ex-Husband Ashley Hamilton Reportedly Hospitalized After Apparent Overdose

The late Shannen Doherty‘s first ex-husband Ashley Hamilton has reportedly been hospitalized.

On Wednesday (April 8), TMZ reported that the 51-year-old Sunset Beach actor was taken the hospital last week after suffering from an apparent overdose.

Keep reading to find out more…Ashley was reportedly found unresponsive on Thursday, April 2, in an AirBnB in the Los Angeles are after experiencing a medical emergency related to an unknown substance.

He was reportedly rushed to the hospital where he remains in stable condition.

If you didn’t know, Ashley, who is the son of George Hamilton and Alana Stewart, famously married Shannen in October 1993 after just two weeks of dating when he was 19-years-old and she was 22. They split after five months of marriage in April 1994.

When Shannen died in July 2024 at the age of 53 following a battle with breast cancer, Ashley paid tribute, sharing in a statement with Us Weekly, “Shannen was not only my wife, she was my guardian angel. Even though things don’t always work out the way we hope they will, she stood by my side during some of my darkest times. My love and admiration for her lasted far longer than our short-lived marriage.”

Ashley was then married to actress Angie Everhart for just four months, from December 1996 until their divorce in March 1997. In November 2016, he welcomed a daughter with Renee Karalian.
