Prosecutors asked for the maximum sentence of 15 years, accusing her of orchestrating an elaborate drug operation for high-end clients to maintain a luxurious lifestyle.
Matthew‘s stepmother, Debbie Perry, attended the sentencing.
She said Jasveen caused irreversible damage to the family and urging the judge to impose the maximum possible sentence as well, per KLTA.
Doctor Salvador Plasencia was also held responsible for supplying the late actor with ketamine back in December, and was sentenced to 30 months in federal prison.
The actor, best known for his beloved performance as Chandler Bing in the hit sitcom Friends, died suddenly on October 28, 2023 at the age of 54. It was initially reported that he drowned in a jacuzzi, until it was later ruled in his toxicology report that he died of “acute effects of ketamine.”
One of his co-stars revealed they find comfort in watching reruns of their old show together.
