Women's Health Wednesday: The role of forensic nurses
Nearly every 68 seconds, someone is sexually assaulted in this country, but just under 30% of those crimes are actually reported to police. During this Sexual Assault Awareness Month, we're trying to spread the word about the help that is available locally. At the same time, the HBO Max medical drama, "The Pitt" is shining a light on the important work forensic nurses do, to support survivors.
