How an immigrant scientist pioneered global seed research from Denmark
Dr Suresh Behari Mathur moved to Copenhagen from India in the early ’60s as a 30-year-old. Today, at 90, he lives a quiet life in Søborg. Over his six decades in Denmark, he has started a family, built a home, planted a garden, but more significantly, established a first-of-its-kind institute for plant pathology that has had far-reaching impacts on the global scientific community.
