Iranian IRGC Declares ‘Restraint is Over,’ Threatens to Obliterate US-Linked Infrastructure and Starve World of Oil for YEARS

Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) has declared an end to any pretense of “restraint” and is now openly threatening direct attacks on U.S.-linked infrastructure across the region.

According to the latest reports, the IRGC signaled it is prepared to unleash strikes on critical energy targets, warning that such actions “could disrupt oil and gas supplies for years” and throw West Asia, and by extension the entire global economy, into chaos.

“From now on, all these considerations have been lifted,” the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps said in a statement.

Anadolu Agency reported:

In a statement carried by the state news agency IRNA, Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) said it would retaliate beyond the region if what it called the “red lines” are crossed.

“We will damage the infrastructure of America and its partners, which will deprive the United States and its allies of oil and gas in the region for years,” the IRGC threatened.

The force said Iran has so far exercised restraint in its responses, citing considerations related to good neighborliness.

“But all these considerations may now be canceled,” it added.

The statement stressed that Iran has not initiated attacks on civilian targets but would respond to attacks on its own civilian infrastructure.

Remember, this is the same IRGC that has been losing top commanders left and right under Trump’s watch. Just last week, we reported the elimination of IRGC Intelligence Chief Majid Khademi in a precision strike.

Days earlier, IRGC Commander General Mohammad Ali Fathali-Zadeh was taken out.

Meanwhile, a deepening divide at the highest levels of Iran’s leadership has erupted, with President Masoud Pezeshkian accusing senior Revolutionary Guard commanders of acting unilaterally.

Two sources close to the presidential office said a tense exchange took place on Saturday, April 4, between Pezeshkian and Hossein Taeb, a powerful figure close to Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei. Those present described the conversation as unusually difficult and highly charged.

During the meeting, Pezeshkian accused IRGC chief commander Ahmad Vahidi and Ali Abdollahi, commander of Khatam al-Anbiya Central Headquarters – the country’s armed forces’ unified command, of acting unilaterally and driving escalation through attacks on regional countries, especially against their infrastructure.

According to the sources, Pezeshkian said those policies had destroyed any remaining chance of a ceasefire and were steering the Islamic Republic directly toward “a huge catastrophe.”

He also warned that, based on what he described as precise assessments, Iran’s economy would not be able to withstand a prolonged war for much longer and that full economic collapse was inevitable under current conditions.

The confrontation comes amid mounting evidence of a broader power shift inside the Islamic Republic, with military and intelligence networks increasingly displacing both the elected government and the traditional clerical order.
