LeBron James & Anthony Davis Push Draymond Green to Say, “I Will F*ck You Up”
If you’re an NBA fan, then you already know that the Warriors’ Draymond Green tends to be one of the more “expressive” players in the league. The NBA champion has a passion for the sport, and infamous run-ins with opponents have earned him a reputation in the world of basketball that often makes him a bit polarizing. That being said, his off-court demeanor appears to be rather calm. However, Green was ready to put the fiery side of his personality on full display in an “investment meeting,” and it’s all thanks to former Laker teammates, Anthony Davis and arguable “GOAT”, LeBron James.

Davis may have had a rough go of it this NBA season due to injury and his surprise trade to the Washington Wizards, but he’s making some headway outside the world of basketball in the realm of TV. If you didn’t know, on April 6, the basketball superstar debuted a new show on TBS aptly titled Foul Play with Anthony Davis. As described by TBS:
“Foul Play With Anthony Davis turns the tables on the locker room dynamic, as athletes from all sports pull pranks on their oblivious teammates and sports-world friends. They do this with an assist from the creative team behind Impractical Jokers and an ensemble cast of writers/performers who help them see the prank through from the opening tip-off to the final buzzer.”
First up in Davis’ practical joke series was a prank he pulled on Green with the help of James. In the prank, Green’s agent Rich Paul takes his client into a room of investors, who are really actors, and the group presses the urgency of Green getting them $100 million for his part in an investment. Behind the scenes, Davis and James are feeding the actors a few lines to push Green to his boiling point.

During the scene, the actors state a number of lines to poke the metaphorical bear. The investors say things to Green like, “This isn’t the G-League, this is the NBA.” To which Paul responds, “You’re talking to a Hall of Famer in the NBA,” only for an investor to snidely reply, “Not in finance.”
When the actors continue to push Green for $100 million in cash for his part in the investment, he continues to refuse to pay them and even questions, “Who’s just sitting on $100 million cash?” The investors claps back, “A lot of people,” and Green retorts, “Well, y’all should go find them.”
The prank escalates as the investors start yelling at Green. He advises them to stop yelling, prompting one investor to get even louder. That’s when Green drops the gem, “I’m going to leave here, because I will f*ck you up.” That threat really makes Davis and James laugh behind the scenes, but also inspires them to get up out of their seats and end the prank, seeing that Green was getting upset.
However, before the prank concludes, viewers are left with one more gem. After hearing Green’s threat, another investor yells out, “You can’t punch us all in the d*ck.” That was an obvious dig at Green for Game 4 of the 2016 NBA Finals, when Green was called for an egregious foul against James. To this insult, Green replies, “I’ll punch you in your f*cking nose, b*tch.”
Before Green can follow through with his threat or leave the room, James and Davis walk in, laughing hysterically. Realizing he was just pranked, Green smiles and takes everything in stride. You can watch a clip of the prank below, and it appears the full debut episode of Foul Play with Anthony Davis is streaming for free on TBS’ website.
