Trump Says a 'Whole Civilization Will Die Tonight,' Prays for 'Great People of Iran' Ahead of Deadline for Peace Talks
Donald Trump is threatening to eradicate Iran as the deadline he set to come to an agreement with leaders in the Middle Eastern country approaches.
On Tuesday morning (April 7), the 79-year-old president took to social media to warn that “a whole civilization will die tonight,” adding that he didn’t want to call for attacks on Iranian infrastructure but that it “probably” would happen.
His threat comes as a deadline of 8 p.m. looms for peace talks with Iranian leaders and after he threatened to send the country to hell in a profanity laced statement on Easter morning.

“A whole civilization will die tonight, never to be brought back again. I don’t want that to happen, but it probably will,” the president wrote in his latest threat on Truth Social.
Trump continued, writing, “However, now that we have Complete and Total Regime Change, where different, smarter, and less radicalized minds prevail, maybe something revolutionarily wonderful can happen, WHO KNOWS? We will find out tonight, one of the most important moments in the long and complex history of the World. 47 years of extortion, corruption, and death, will finally end. God Bless the Great People of Iran!”
In a press conference on Monday (April 6), the president alleged that he’d be able to take out all of Iran’s bridges and power plants within four hours of issuing the demand.
As has been previously reported by NBC News, attacks on a nation’s civilian infrastructure (such as power plants) “can be considered a war crime under international law.”
