Dakota Johnson's Mom Melanie Griffith Shares Thoughts on New Boyfriend Role Model

Dakota Johnson is going strong with new boyfriend Role Model and now her famous mom is sharing her thoughts on the relationship.

Dakota, 36, and Role Model, 28, have been spotted kissing and holding hands in public on multiple occasions across the past week and their relationship seems like it’s definitely for real!

While stepping out over the weekend, Dakota‘s mom Melanie Griffith was asked to reveal her thoughts on Role Model, whose real name is Tucker Pillsbury.

“I think he’s fabulous,” Melanie said, according to a video shared by DeuxMoi.

Dakota and Role Model were first linked as a couple back in December 2025 and they’ve been spotted together several times since then.

If you don’t know, Dakota reportedly split from longtime partner Chris Martin over the summer, and in November it was revealed that she had apparently started dating again.

Role Model was previously linked to influencer Emma Chamberlain, but it was reported that they split back in 2023. He’s best known for his hit song “Sally, When The Wine Runs Out” and bringing up celebrities on stage to be his Sally at his concerts.
