Busy weeknights demand fast, reliable cooking—and most air fryers don’t quite deliver. The Typhur Dome 2 Air Fryer aims to fix that with a larger cooking capacity, even heat distribution, and simple, family-friendly controls. After testing multiple models that fell short, this one stood out immediately as a smarter, more efficient way to cook for a crowd.
Right from the start, cleaning was simple—I like to clean before use and the large basket and single solid grate on the inside was very easy to wash down. The cooking basket is impressively large, at least 50 percent bigger than others I’ve tried, so I didn't have to pile food on top of each other. Wings, chicken fingers, and other foods all cook evenly with plenty of space. Let me tell you with many mouths to feed the extra space is very noticeable.

One thing that really stood out is how well-insulated it is. After I cooked some chicken fingers, I had to run the kids to an event, and when I came back it was still hot (it was about 40 minutes if I were to guess)—something my other air fryers never managed. On top of that, it even has a warming option, which is great when you want food to stay ready for longer…I will try that next time on purpose.
I haven’t fully tested the dehydration feature yet, but I’m excited to try it for making jerky. The design itself is sleek and modern, almost Space Age, but still very stylish and clean-looking—it kind of blends into the kitchen with soft edges and dome looking feature. The display screen is clear, the options are easy to read, and the controls are simple to use. With some of my older air fryers, the buttons were hard to see or confusing, but the Typhur is definitely user-friendly and thoughtfully designed.
The Typhur has exceeded my expectations. It’s spacious, keeps food warm, looks great on the counter, and is simple to use. For anyone who’s been let down by other models, the Dome 2 really delivers on both performance and convenience.
