Bhubaneswar to turn vegetable waste into CNG: Project to ease civic burden
Bhubaneswar is set to convert approximately 50 tonnes of daily vegetable market waste into automobile-grade CNG. This initiative aims to alleviate the burden on the Municipal Corporation's waste handling system and mitigate foul odors from decomposing refuse. The project involves a private party operating a waste-to-CNG plant, promoting scientific waste management and a circular economy.
