ESPN's Dan Orlovsky Was Offered an Absurd Bet on Tonight's National Championship Game
ESPN's Dan Orlovsky is a proud UConn alum who has basked in the Huskies' success the last four seasons under Dan Hurley. With his alma mater on the verge of a third national title in four years, Orlovsky is weighing an insane wager from a colleague.
Ahead of tonight's Michigan-UConn matchup, Bussin' With The Boys cohost and ESPN contributor Taylor Lewan has proposed a bet with Orlovsky that could be downright embarrassing if the longtime NFL analyst accepts and loses.

What's at stake?
In the video above, Orlovsky lays out the parameters. If UConn wins, Lewan, a former star offensive lineman with Michigan and the Tennessee Titans, will have to shave his trademark mustache through the end of 2026.
That's a big sacrifice for Lewan, but nothing like what Orlovsky would have to do if UConn loses. The straight-laced former quarterback will have to get a dangly earring featuring Michigan's "M" logo and wear it alongside Lewan and his Bussin' With The Boys partner Will Compton on ESPN's Get Up this season.
The reaction to the proposal was what you'd expect.
"That is brutal," said Get Up host Mike Greenberg as colleague Damien Woody laughed next to him.
"I actually wanna see that," added ESPN college basketball analyst Seth Greenberg. "That's more motivation for Michigan."
"I'm cautious to accept," Orlovsky admitted.
Will Orlovsky follow through?
As of 12:30 p.m. ET, Lewan said had not heard a definitive answer.
"Had @danorlovsky7 on face time while shooting the pod today," Lewan tweeted. "He scared, all good I would be too. Still waiting to hear back from his team."
Michigan and UConn are scheduled to tip off at 8:50 p.m. ET. That gives us a little more than six hours to see just how confident Dan O. is in his school.
