There are multiple reports from British outlets, including the BBC, that Pepsi is no longer sponsoring the festival held at Finsbury Park, previously co-branded as “Pepsi MAX Presents Wireless” since 2015.
A specific reason was not named, but Ye was just announced as the headliner of the three-night festival, set to take place in July.
Sir Keir Starmer, Prime Minister of the United Kingdom, also just issued a statement after the booking announcement: “It is deeply concerning Kanye West has been booked to perform at Wireless despite his previous antisemitic remarks and celebration of Nazism. Antisemitism in any form is abhorrent and must be confronted firmly wherever it appears.”
However, the Wireless Festival still features Pepsi branding and verbiage on the official website as of Sunday (April 5).
Ye took out an ad back in January in an issue of The Wall Street Journal, where he addressed those he has hurt. If you don’t know, he’s made antisemitic statements in public in recent years, and as recently as 2025 was selling swastika t-shirts.
