Scrappy conditions for the keen
Hello Friends,
A light SSE breeze wasn’t helping the lumpy, disorganised conditions at Dee Why this morning. There were a few hardy characters in the water chasing waist to maybe chest-high burgers, but it looked challenging to get into them. The MHL data from 0700 showed 2.2 metres of 7-second bump from the SSE around to the east.
Outlook is for the conditions to stay more or less the same all day, and then tomorrow we should see light wind and a more easterly but still short-period swell. From Tuesday it looks as though we’re in for a run of autumnal offshores for a couple of days with more meter-ish 8-9 second period wind swell from the east. So, not terrible but not terribly exciting either.
Have a pleasant Easter Sunday everyone and go well with your plans.
