The Gilded Age's Claybourne Elder Drops Debut Solo Album, Uses His Hot Thirst Trap Photos for Promo!
Claybourne Elder knows that his shirtless photos on Instagram get a lot of engagement, so he’s strategically using them to get some attention for his debut solo album!
The 43-year-old Broadway star, who is also known for playing John Adams on HBO’s The Gilded Age, just released his album If the Stars Were Mine.
“If the Stars Were Mine started as a song I sing to my son at bedtime—something I’ve done almost every night of his life. I had gotten so used to singing in front of people that sitting in the quiet dark with him and singing reminded me of how lovely and intimate a song can be. When I set out to make this album, I wanted to make music that had that intimacy and felt more like me than a character,” Claybourne said in a statement.
The album dropped on Friday (April 3) and Claybourne took to his Instagram page that day with his thirst trap promo video. Throughout a clip of himself talking about the album, the actor had many of his hot shirtless pics popping up one-by-one.
