Insiders Claim What Taylor Swift’s ‘Priority’ Is Right Now Amid Rumors of a Life of a Showgirl Tour
Despite doing a multi-year Eras tour and being knee-deep in wedding planning with her fiancé Travis Kelce, rumors have started to swirl that Taylor Swift may go immediately back on tour after the wedding. However, insiders are dishing on what Swift’s priorities are amid these rumors, and Swifties: don’t get your hopes up!
“She does have another record in the works, but there’s no pressure to release it anytime soon. It’s still very much in the creative stages,” insiders said to DailyMail, noting Swift has no plans for a Life of a Showgirl tour. “She never meant to do a massive tour attached to it.”
They added, “Taylor’s priority right now is her personal life. She and Travis are saving all their energy for the big summer they have coming up.”
Now this totally checks out when you remember insiders told The Sun last month that the pair’s “major priority” amid all the planning is their honeymoon and spending time together.
“They have been planning this for weeks and have already informed friends and family that they will be ‘off the grid’ during this time,” they said. “Unless there is an emergency, they want to limit outside contact to truly immerse themselves in this once-in-a-lifetime experience before Travis returns to the football field.”
For those who don’t know, Kelce and Swift have been dating since July 2023, but didn’t make their romance known until months later, when Swift arrived at one of his games. (Kelce even talked about his crush on her on his podcast with his brother months prior to this.)
Then, Swift and Kelce announced their engagement news on Aug. 26 2025. “Your English teacher and your gym teacher are getting married ????” Swift captioned a post, revealing several pictures from the intimate moment surrounded by flowers in their backyard garden.
Insiders recently told DailyMail that Swift and Kelce will definitely tie the knot this summer, and allegedly before football season. (Hint hint: The Chiefs’ first practice is currently scheduled for July 22, so this totally checks out that they’ll probably get married in June!)
“Everybody [loved ones, close friends] has been told to put the summer on hold and they will find out the details right before the wedding,” one insider said, with another adding the wedding “will definitely take place prior to football season.”
