When God Declares It Is Your Season
Finding peace starts with surrendering our worries to the universe and trusting that God’s guidance will meet us in the middle of our uncertainty. Best-selling author of Finding God Every Day, Rebecca Simon, reminds us to trust God’s timing, embrace patience, and lean on His presence through every season of life.
When it is your season, you won’t have to beg for it. You won’t have to manipulate it into happening or shrink yourself to make it fit. What God has spoken over your life is not fragile. It is not dependent on whether everyone approves of you. It is not cancelled by your past mistakes, your family patterns, or the fear that sometimes whispers that you’re not ready. If it is written for you, it cannot be undone by a human opinion or delayed by a closed door.
So often we live as if one wrong move could ruin everything — as if blessings are this delicate glass we might shatter with a single misstep. But divine timing doesn’t work like that. What is meant for you will withstand misunderstanding. It will survive rejection. It will outlast the seasons where nothing seems to be moving. And when the time is right, the very obstacles that once discouraged you will begin to reposition you. The delays will make sense. The detours will feel intentional.
When God declares it is your season, no human, no generational curse, no fear, no past failure, nothing at all, can hinder what he has promised you.
We often live as if our blessings are fragile, as if one wrong move or one person’s disapproval could derail the entire plan for our lives. But a divine season is not a fragile thing. It isn’t dependent on your perfection, and it isn’t intimidated by your history. When the timing is right, the obstacles that used to stop you will suddenly become the very things that move you forward.
You don’t have to fight for a seat at a table God has already built for you, and you don’t have to worry about the doors that were slammed in your face by people who didn’t see your value. If it is meant for you, it will find you – despite the noise, despite the doubt, and despite the delays. You are stepping into a season that doesn’t require force, only trust. Rest in the fact that what is yours is coming, and there is no power on earth that can talk God out of the promise he made to you.
