Todd Bridges Files for Divorce From Bettijo B. Hirschi Less Than 3 Months After Separating
Todd Bridges is moving forward with divorce proceedings.
The Diff’rent Strokes actor announced that he and wife, designer and photographer Bettijo B. Hirschi, were separating after three years of marriage in January. Then, on Tuesday (March 31), he officially filed for divorce in an Arizona court.
According to the documents obtained by People and Us Weekly, he filed a Petition for Dissolution of Marriage Without Minor Children in a Maricopa County, Ariz., court, citing that their “marriage is broken beyond repair” after trying to “resolve [their] problems.”

The couple first met on a dating app and then got married nine months later in September 2022.
Todd, 60, released the following statement when he announced they were separating earlier this year.
“After much prayer and reflection, my spouse and I have made the difficult decision to separate,” he said. “This was not an easy choice, and it comes with a heavy heart, but also with love and gratitude for the life we shared.”
Neither Todd nor Bettijo are reportedly requesting spousal support and said they don’t have any community property or debts. In the paperwork, he established that they are living separately and he wants to keep his real estate property from before they married. Additional terms have been settled outside of court.
