Female Anchor Baby of Two Chinese Illegal Aliens Busted on Terrorism Charges While Brother Remains At Large – Parents in ICE Custody
America’s laws on birthright citizenship are undergoing fresh scrutiny thanks to two anchor babies who allegedly committed a startling crime.
As the Daily Wire reported, the children of two illegal alien Chinese parents allegedly brought an explosive device to MacDill Air Force Base Visitor’s Center in Tampa last week.
One of the siblings, 27-year-old Ann Zheng, has been arrested and charged for her part in the incident.
The DOJ alleges that the brother and sister duo “attempted to damage government property by fire or explosion.” Moreover, they accuse Ann Zheng of helping her brother, Alen Zheng “in order to hinder and prevent his apprehension, trial, and punishment.”
Ann Zheng was apprehended upon her return to the United States from China. Her brother remains at large.
Authorities suspect Alen Zheng is hiding out in China.
The parents of the two alleged terrorists, Qiu Qin Zou and Jia Zhang Zheng, illegally entered the U.S. roughly three decades ago. They were arrested by the Department of Homeland Security back on March 18 and remain in ICE custody.
Here’s more from the Daily Wire on their background:
They had applied for asylum in 1993, but their applications were denied by an immigration judge, who ordered their removal from the U.S. in 1998. DHS says that the Board of Immigration Appeals repeatedly denied their attempts to have their case reopened.
Despite this, they remained in the United States for decades.
Acting Assistant Secretary Lauren Bis released a statement, which noted how the U.S. process of granting birthright citizenship puts national security in danger.
“Automatically granting citizenship to children of illegal aliens born in the U.S. is based on a historically inaccurate interpretation of the Citizenship Clause and poses a major national security risk,” Bis said.
That reality became apparent last week when two U.S.-born children of Chinese illegal aliens were indicted for planting a potentially deadly explosive device outside MacDill Air Force Base in Florida,” she added. “This incident underscores the severe national security threat that illegal immigration and birthright citizenship pose to the United States.”
This horrifying incident comes as the Supreme Court considers President Trump’s executive order banning birthright citizenship.
As TGP readers know, Trump says the 14th Amendment is being hijacked , by the left to give citizenship to ‘anchor babies,’ children of illegal migrants.
He also explains in the executive order why the 14th Amendment has always excluded infants born illegally present in the United States.
“[The] Fourteenth Amendment has never been interpreted to extend citizenship universally to everyone born within the United States. The Fourteenth Amendment has always excluded from birthright citizenship persons who were born in the United States but not “subject to the jurisdiction thereof.” Consistent with this understanding, the Congress has further specified through legislation that “a person born in the United States, and subject to the jurisdiction thereof” is a national and citizen of the United States at birth, 8 U.S.C. 1401, generally mirroring the Fourteenth Amendment’s text,” the order reads.
