Victor Glover Wife & Family: The Astronaut Has Been Married for 2 Decades
NASA Astronaut Victor Glover has been married to his wife, Dionna Glover, for more than two decades.
They share four daughters together named Genesis, Maya, Joia, and Corinne, NASA explained. "The family lived in several states and even spent time in Japan as Victor served as a fighter pilot in the U.S. Navy before shifting his focus from the skies to space," NASA wrote in a biography of Glover and his family.
Victor is one of four astronauts on the Artemis II lunar mission.

Dionna Glover "has been beside him every step of the way. Her background in early childhood development has been helpful as a stay-at-home parent keeping up with four children. Today, she’s also enjoying her role as a health and fitness trainer at her local YMCA," NASA wrote.
"His first spaceflight, SpaceX Crew-1, included a stay aboard the space station between Nov. 2020 and May 2021," NASA added, explaining how Glover and his wife kept in touch.
“I’d think about him, and he’d call me,” she said, according to NASA. “We had a video teleconference once a week. We’d play games, like ‘zero-g charades.’ NASA’s great at keeping us connected. It felt like he was in California. He felt so close.”
Glover, his wife, and one of their daughters have ties to Cal Poly. "Glover accepted an honorary doctorate from Cal Poly in 2025. His wife Dionna, a child development major, and eldest daughter Genesis, a biological sciences major, also officially completed their bachelor's degrees that weekend," the university wrote.

NASA recounted the moment that Glover's wife learned he was going to be an astronaut. "Dionna Glover was loading groceries into her car at the Navy commissary near Washington, D.C., when her husband called to tell her some life-changing news. It was 2013, and Victor Glover had just learned he’d been selected to NASA’s astronaut corps," NASA wrote.
"She was temporarily sworn to secrecy until the announcement was official, but the gears began turning immediately as she considered the implications and logistics for their family of six," NASA added.
“On the drive home, a little bit of panic started in,” she said, according to NASA. “Like I always do, I said a prayer, took a deep breath, and after unloading the groceries, I started looking at schools and houses in Houston.”
"Victor J. Glover, Jr. was selected as an astronaut in 2013 while serving as a Legislative Fellow in the United States Senate," NASA wrote. "Born in Pomona, California. Married to the former Dionna Odom of Berkeley, California. They have four children. His mother lives in southern California, and his father and stepmother live in Prosper, Texas."
