A man offering massage therapy and chiropractic services out of his home in Montreal North was charged this week with sexually assaulting two of his clients and investigators suspect there are more victims connected with the case.
Jorge Luis Marin Lotfe, 35, was arrested in February. His case returns to court May 27.
“The actions he is accused of were allegedly committed during two separate events, which occurred during July 2024 and February 2026, when he was providing therapeutic care as part of massage therapy and chiropractic services,” the Montreal police wrote in a statement this week. “Investigators have reason to believe that he may have had other victims.”
According to the statement, Marin Lotfe offered massage therapy and chiropractic services at his home through an online ad.
“He used various pretexts related to the victims’ physical condition and took advantage of the therapeutic treatments to commit sexual acts against them,” the Montreal police alleged.
Marin Lotfe, 35, is white man who speaks Spanish. He required the services of a Spanish interpreter when he first appeared in court on Feb. 25. He has green eyes and brown hair. He is 5-foot-9 (1.81 m) and weighs approximately 280 pounds (129 kg).
Police are asking that anyone who believes they were a victim or who witnessed similar behaviour to call 911 or the Montreal police sexual assault squad at 514-280-8502. They can also go to any police station to provide a statement or file an official complaint.
They can also report anonymously and confidentially to Info-Crime Montreal at 514-393-1133 or infocrimemontreal.ca.
