Apple TV's 'Your Friends & Neighbors' Season 2 Streams Sooner Than You Think
SPOILERS BELOW
The first season of Your Friends & Neighbors ended with Andrew Cooper (Jon Hamm) clearing his name in the name of Paul Levitt's murder. Fans of the show learned the truth, that Cooper's love interest and Paul's wife, Sam, set him up for the murder.
Despite his close run-in with the law – and a clear path to return to his old life in the world of finance – Cooper chooses to return to his more exhilarating life of crime. However, showrunner Jonathan Tropper made it clear Cooper is no Walter White.
“Coop is never gonna become a criminal kingpin. We’re not going down the [Breaking Bad] Walter White road,” Tropper told Variety. “So, it’s never gonna be about building a big criminal enterprise. … Right now, we’ve only caught him after a season at the point where he’s figured out what he’s not gonna be, but I don’t think he’s yet figured out what it is he is going to be.”
