NTPC Mining Begins Operations at Pakri-Barwadih Mine, Boosting India's Coal Supply
NTPC Mining Limited has launched operations at its Pakri-Barwadih (North-West) captive mine in Jharkhand, boosting its production capacity. This development, effective April 1, coincides with the transfer of all NTPC mining assets to NML, solidifying its role as a dedicated entity. The company also achieved a record 44.16 MMT coal production in 2025-26, exceeding government targets.
