ARMY! With BTS kicking off the U.S. leg of their highly anticipated ‘ARIRANG’ World Tour this month in Tampa, Florida, you might be looking for a hotel in the area — if you don’t already have one booked. After all, Tampa has some of the cheapest tickets for BTS’ upcoming concert across all the North American stops (note: see here for the cheapest seats). So, I wouldn’t blame you if you wanted to take a quick trip to see them in another city.
Whether you’re driving from out of state or flying from across the country, then you’ll need somewhere to stay at least for the night after the show is over whether you’re attending with your friends or solo. Luckily, there’s no shortage of hotels in Tampa to stay at and as a Florida native, I’m pretty familiar with some in the area that are both near the Raymond James Stadium or just a short drive away. So, if you’re wondering where to stay for BTS’ Tampa stop — which are happening on April 25, 26, and 28 — I’ve got you covered with the best hotels near Raymon James Stadium in Tampa.

Although you could make it work by blasting some amazing post-concert tunes, staying in the area is preferred and just more convenient all around.

Hampton Inn & Suites Tampa/Ybor City/Downtown
Most Budget-Friendly
If you’re looking for a good place to stay that won’t break the bank (after all, tickets can be quite pricey!), SheKnows‘ shopping writer and Tampa-native, Jacquelyn Greenfield, recommends booking a hotel in the historic Ybor City. Depending on traffic, it’s about a 20 minute drive to Raymond James Stadium, which isn’t bad at all. Ybor City offers you a chance to experience a bit of Tampa’s history, culture, and unique nightlife before and after the concert.
The Hampton Inn & Suites Tampa/Ybor City/Downtown is a family-friendly hotel that has just what you need for a night’s stay or two. It’s two blocks away from the Streetcar Society Station, which is great for anyone looking to explore the downtown area. They also have a free shuttle that can take you to the Port of Tampa, among other hot spots within a three mile radius.

Hilton Garden Inn Tampa Ybor Historic District
Best for Downtown Sightseeing
The Hilton Garden Inn Tampa Ybor Historic District is another great location that’s close enough to the venue, while being more on the budget-friendly side (for a major concert event, of course). It’s just two miles from downtown Tampa and less than five miles away from Raymond James stadium. You can easily grab an Uber or Lyft and make it to the stadium within 15 to 20 minutes, depending on traffic. Before or after the concert, you can also relax and take advantage of their outdoor pool and hot tub, as well as their on-site, all-day dining.

Hilton Tampa Downtown
Best for Hilton Loyalists
For those Hilton loyalists, you can’t go wrong with a hotel that’s a 10 minute drive away from the stadium and you can get those honors points while you’re at it. You really can’t get a better location in proximity to the downtown area and the stadium for the BTS concert if you ask me. The rooms are clean and spacious offering magnificent views of the city defending on the type.
Also, when hunger strikes, there’s an Italian restaurant, Che-Vita, that offers authentic pasta and pizza dishes or you can grab a drink in the Che-Vita Lounge. It’s also worth noting there’s a heated rooftop pool that you can relax at before or after the concert if that’s of interest.

Hyatt House Tampa Downtown
Best With a Free Breakfast
If you already spent big bucks on BTS concert tickets, then you might not be looking to splurge on a hotel room — that’s completely understandable. Hyatt House Tampa Downtown is a more budget-friendly option that’s both near the stadium and the airport. Aside from the location, a big selling point is the free breakfast and complimentary internet access for hotel guests — these can add up and having them already included is a bonus. The rooms are roomy, clean and modern while remaining at a fair price point making this hotel a good fit for those concert-goers who are looking for a nice property without breaking the bank.

Riverwalk Terrace is one of the most popular brunch spots in the area and Lona by Chef Richard Sandoval is a Mexican hotspot for locals and tourists alike — definitely a great pre-concert dinner spot. Similar to the property above, the pool is exquisite with scenic views of Tampa and lounge chairs to unwind and relax in.

Best for a Treat Yourself Stay
If you’re looking for another hotel in Tampa’s downtown district, then the JW Marriott Tampa should be on your radar. The property is a 13 minute drive to the stadium similar to the others and is connected to the Tampa Marriott Water Street. The properties share restaurants so you can enjoy Lona and Riverwalk Terrace or go a different direction with SiX, a bistro with picturesque views of the city.
Also, if you have time during your visit you’ll want to check out the two pools on the sixth floor of the hotel or even partake in an offered fitness class. This hotel is on the higher end in terms of price so it’s definitely a splurge, however, you might as well treat yourself if you’re already in Florida.
