Dolores Catania Says She Doesn't Know Any of the New 'Real Housewives of New Jersey' Women

Dolores Catania is speaking out about the cast of The Real Housewives of New Jersey.

The 55-year-old reality star was a guest on the show in season one, three and four, before joining the main cast in season seven.

Now, she’s set to be only one of three returning Housewives on the show’s upcoming, delayed 15th season.

In a new interview while promoting The Real Housewives of Rhode Island, where she’ll be a friend of, with Liz McGraw, Dolores offered insight to who’s joining RHONJ, and reveals she knows nothing and knows no one.

“I don’t know any of them. One speculation, I maybe know one of them. The other ones I don’t know that like has been put out there. No one tells me anything. I think Melissa [Gorga] and Teresa [Giudice] know, but they didn’t tell me,” Dolores said on SiriusXM’s Jeff Lewis Live.

She also teased the new women have some “big shoes to fill whoever they are.”

Not knowing the new cast members, though, is a positive for Dolores in a way.

“I’ve seen Andy [Cohen]. I’ve saw, you know, some bosses and I’m like, you know, who’s coming back? I don’t know,” she dished. “I’m always on the back burner. So that’s why, but then sometimes it’s good because if it gets leaked, I can’t get blamed for it.”

As for the ones who aren’t returning, Dolores says she’s asked why some aren’t coming back.

“They said, ‘It’s just the way the business goes,’” she shared. “You know, it like in other businesses, you don’t get let go for doing your job too much or you know, there’s not always a fair reason why things happen. They just do. They have to they make sense to them.”

Filming on RHONJ was put on pause in 2024 after a tumultuous 14th season. However, cameras are set to finally pick back up soon.

Recently, Andy Cohen teased “a great group” while talking about the upcoming new cast, which has yet to be revealed.
