Dems want voucher funding as counties pause Child Care Assistance Program

Democratic Assemblymembers and childcare advocates are urging Governor Kathy Hochul to fully fund vouchers and raise wages for childcare workers statewide, as 35 counties outside of New York City have stopped accepting new applications for the state's Child Care Assistance Program due to lack of funding.
