'Another Day Old' Lyrics: AI Singer Eddie Dalton Hits iTunes Charts With Viral Songs, But He Is Not Real
An AI-generated artist is making serious waves in the music industry at the moment.
A mystery singer named Eddie Dalton started showing up on the iTunes Chart worldwide, but there’s a twist: he isn’t real.

Eddie currently has at least three songs in the iTunes Top 10, including “Another Day Old,” “Running to You” and “Cheap Red Wine.” He also appears on the iTunes Charts in regions like the United Kingdom, Australia, Germany, Canada and the Netherlands.
The tracks have reportedly generated around 13,000 sales and over 525,000 streams, and they’ve racked up hundreds of thousands of streams on YouTube.
His bio on YouTube simply reads “Old School Soul & Blues.”
Despite the runaway success of these tracks, it seems most users are not aware that this isn’t a human, as the YouTube comments are filled with people praising the “artist.”
The music is believed to be distributed by a company called Crusty Records, and it’s just one of the many instances of AI-generated artists being uploaded to streaming services and gaining plenty of traction among listeners, causing debate about authenticity and ownership of music.
From their official website: “We believe technology is a tool for creative expansion, not something to be resisted. Crusty Records actively embraces emerging platforms and production methods to help artists move faster, reach wider audiences, and retain ownership. Progress isn’t the enemy – stagnation is.”
