De Zerbi to keep Spurs up?

Now confirmed that former Brighton and Marseille manager and self confessed Bielsa disciple Roberto De Zerbi is the new Tottenham manager on a long term deal.

No release clause apparently, he will remain manager if relegated.

Controversial as various Spurs supporters groups have spoken out against his appointment following his support of Mason Greenwood.

Do we feel he will keep Tottenham up?

For context he's generally good at first seasons.

He holds the record for most Premier League points in a season for Brighton and highest position

Did the same at Sassuolo

1st season at Marseille was their highest league finish in a few years and one of their highest points totals in the last 10 years.

He has a pretty decent record of picking up points early.

4 wins from 5 at both Marseille and Sassuolo.

However.

He's a feisty character, may not go down well with the pampered Spurs players.

He's not one for prioritising picking up draws and hanging on for a point.

He will push with his way no matter what.

And the last time he was a Premier League manager he didn't actually win any of his first 5.
