Failure Jim Acosta Laughs At No Kings Protester’s Sign Wishing Death On President Trump? | Drew Hernandez
Failed Former CNN anchor Jim Acosta is faced mass backlash after his live “pregame” stream from a recent “No Kings” protest in Washington, D.C., where he laughed at a sign that many viewers interpreted as wishing death on President Donald Trump.
During his low energy YouTube broadcast of “NO KINGS 3 WASHINGTON, DC: THE PRE GAME SHOW,” Acosta stopped to read a protester’s sign that showed Trump golfing alongside the words, “OK cholesterol, do your job!” which critics said implied the president should die of a heart-related event while in office.
Looking into the camera, Acosta told his audience, “These are some very colorful and clever signs here,” before reading the slogan aloud and adding, “I think I know what that means,” as he chuckled.
He went on to praise the message, calling it “very funny” and “very clever,” remarks that were captured in clips that have now gone viral.
In the same segment, Acosta also highlighted another sign referencing unreleased Epstein files, saying “The Epstein files aren’t in Iran, that’s very true,” and complimenting the protesters for what he called “excellent signs.”
Conservative media outlets and commentators quickly accused Acosta of endorsing violent rhetoric against the president, with headlines describing him as “laughing about Trump dying in office” and “mocking” a sign about Trump’s death.
Thousands of social media users on X framed the moment as further evidence that prominent anti‑Trump media figures are comfortable joking about the president’s death.
