Vanessa Trump May Be Setting a Non-Negotiable Boundary Amid Tiger Woods ‘Chaos’
Vanessa Trump is in an impossible position when it comes to her love life with Tiger Woods, but it sounds like she may have already made a decision.
As Donald Trump’s former daughter-in-law, Vanessa still remains in the family’s inner circle, as she shares five children with her ex-husband, Donald Trump Jr.: Kai, 18; Donald III, 17; Tristan, 14; Spencer, 13; and Chloe, 11. That’s where things get tricky — the Trump family doesn’t seem to want to deal with any of Woods’ mess.
“Don Jr. has been supportive of Tiger and Vanessa, especially when it comes to the kids, which is always his main focus,” an insider told People. “But the recent situation raised some concerns for him.”
The 50-year-old golfer’s DUI arrest on March 27 has Vanessa’s friends claiming that the event was “a wake-up call” for her. “She’s not doing messy again,” a pal told Rob Shuter’s Naughty But Nice Substack. “She’s been through chaos before. She’s not putting herself — or her kids — back in that position.”
Vanessa dealt with infidelity during her marriage to Donald Jr., which reportedly included a fling with Aubrey O’Day. She and her ex have navigated co-parenting their children amicably, so it’s likely that she wants to avoid any scandals that will impact her kids.
“She is annoyed because he drives her and her kids around sometimes. She just thinks about all the times that she doesn’t know whether he was good to drive,” an insider told the Daily Mail. “She’s a protective mom. And this is not just irresponsible, it’s dangerous. She needs some reassurance that this is not happening again.”
Woods and Vanessa have been dating since Thanksgiving 2024, but made their love Instagram official in March 2025. The relationship turned serious quickly, with even White House wedding rumors circulating last summer. Still, Daily Mail sources insisted that it would likely never happen.
“Cynically, why should she get married? There’s no point of it, and it would just complicate her alimony from Donald [Trump Jr.],” the source said last year. “And Tiger, of course, paid out a lot in his divorce from Elin [Nordegren], and I don’t think he’s particularly excited to do that again.”
With the athlete’s health and Vanessa’s children’s safety as a top priority, it might be easier for her to put the relationship on ice.
