Jamie Dornan Reveals Odd Items He Collects in 'SNL UK' Opening Monologue

Jamie Dornan is taking over SNL UK!

The 43-year-old Fifty Shades of Grey actor served as host of the second episode of the new late-night sketch comedy series on Saturday (March 28).

After introducing himself as the star of “your auntie’s favorite dreams,” Jamie revealed the odd items he likes to collect.

Keep reading to find out more…“I’m not just a sex symbol who looks sexy in everything he does, but I am also a guy who collects rocks that look like potatoes,” he shared before proceeding to wheel out a cart displaying five stones that looked like potatoes.

Jamie picked up each rock to admire it, noting that one looked “exactly like a chip.”

“Look at these gorgeous little things. And no, this isn’t a joke. God knows, I wish it was,” Jamie said, before urging people to Google “Jamie Dornan potato rocks” to establish that he was “telling the truth.”

“Seriously, this is who you want to sleep with?” he jokingly added.

Jamie was then interrupted by fellow Irish actor Chris O’Dowd, who said, “That’s right, it’s me, your greatest enemy and personal friend. Couldn’t help but notice that you’re showing off your spud rocks again.”

Chris, 46, then pulled out his own rock and revealed that he had swapped one of Jamie‘s collection for an actual potato, which he then jokingly revealed “wasn’t even Irish!”
