Robert Pattinson’s Cheeky Comment Has Fans Convinced He Threw Shade at Ex Kristen Stewart
Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart remain one of the it-couples of the 2010s we look back on, but it seems there may be a bit of hostility (or is there?)
For the premiere of his new movie, The Drama, he responded to the question of what a red flag in a relationship is to him.
“Aries,” Pattison laughed, adding, “I’m joking. I just picked a random one!”
Obviously, since this is the internet, everyone assumed this was a dig at Stewart since she’s an Aries. Fans wrote on X, the app formerly known as Twitter, “KRISTEN STEWART SHADE—” and “He’s so messy.” But there are a few things to keep in mind.
Not only are he and Stewart seemingly on good terms, but she’s not the only Aries he’s been attached to. He allegedly dated Dylan Penn back in late 2013, who is also an Aries (but it was seemingly only rumors)!
For those who don’t know, Stewart and Pattinson first met when auditioning for Twilight, and the dating rumors started in 2009. While Stewart initially denied the rumors, they were seen making out in Nov 2009.
Their relationship was confirmed in 2010, but then, Stewart was seen kissing her married Snow White and the Huntsman director, Rupert Sanders, in the summer of 2012. However, despite a brief split, they did reconnect later that same year.
Sadly, they split up in May 2013, but seemingly stayed on good terms since Stewart was seen attending Pattinson’s birthday party in 2023.
Pattinson is now engaged (and maybe even married to) singer and actress Suki Waterhouse, with whom he has been since 2018 and shares one daughter, born in May 2024. As for Stewart, she has been married to screenwriter Dylan Meyer since 2025.
