Princess Beatrice Is Allegedly Following Her Mom Sarah Ferguson’s Footsteps as She Looks at ‘Fresh Start’ With Husband
After Andrew’s arrest and both of her parents being taken out of the royal family, it seems Princess Beatrice and her husband Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi may be leaving the UK as well, despite the divorce rumors plaguing them right now.
Despite being “desperate to hold things together,” an inside source told the Daily Mail that the couple is considering a big move.
“Her sister Eugenie has lived abroad for many years now and that set the precedent. [The move] “would have been unthinkable a few years ago, but now times are very different,” an insider said. “Moving abroad, most likely to the United States, would be a fresh start for Beatrice and Edo, and it would also mean they could give their marriage a kick start and get it back on track.”
They added that the pair knows “the Andrew and Sarah [Ferguson] problem isn’t going to go away.”
While it’s unclear where Sarah Ferguson is, we do know that Beatrice’s sister, Eugenie, splits her time between Portugal.

For those who don’t know, Beatrice and her husband, Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi, met back in 2018, and by Sept 2019, they got engaged. They later married in May 2020. Beatrice became the stepmom of Mozzi’s son, Christopher Woolf, born in April 2016.
Then, they welcomed a daughter together named Sienna Elizabeth Mapelli Mozzi on Sept 2021. And on Jan 22, 2025, they welcomed another daughter named Athena Elizabeth Rose Mapelli Mozzi.
Insiders previously told DailyMail that Mozzi is “really worried his in-laws will affect his business. Banda has been taking off lately, and he’s found some great investors among the wealthy Cotswolds set, but it’s taking up a lot of his time and energy. He’s all about himself at the moment. You have to feel for Beatrice.”
While insiders claim everything is fine, other insiders claim there’s quite a bit of turmoil.
