Photos Emerge of Tiger Woods Leaving Jail After Car Crash and DUI Arrest — and He Looks Furious
New photos of Tiger Woods leaving the Martin County jail in Jupiter, Florida on Friday night show the golf legend staring blankly through the windshield of his vehicle as he's driven away, and let's just say he looked a little (or a lot) ... over it.
Woods, 50, was released approximately eight hours after his arrest earlier Friday on charges of DUI and refusal to submit to a lawful urine test. According to police, his Range Rover clipped another vehicle near Jupiter and rolled onto its side. Both Woods and the other driver walked away without injuries.
Tiger Woods Might Have Been Impaired by Medication During Car Crash
Officers at the scene noted Woods appeared lethargic and suspected he may have been impaired by medication. A breathalyzer test returned a .000, clearing him of alcohol. When police requested a urinalysis at the station, Woods refused — the refusal itself triggering the arrest and booking.
No statement has been released by Woods or his representatives as of Friday night.
The arrest comes less than two weeks before the Masters, a tournament Woods had quietly been working toward as a potential return to competitive golf following his seventh back surgery last October. The investigation remains ongoing.
