Jon Bernthal & Ebon Moss-Bachrach's Broadway Play 'Dog Day Afternoon' Debuts Full Gallery of Photos
Jon Bernthal and Ebon Moss-Bachrach are now on Broadway and a full gallery of production photos for their play Dog Day Afternoon has been released.
The actors, who previously worked together on the FX series The Bear, will be performing in the play through July 12.
Also starring in the play are John Ortiz and Jessica Hecht. The show is an adaptation of the acclaimed 1975 Oscar-winning movie of the same name. The play is written by Pulitzer Prize winner Stephen Adly Guirgis and directed by Rupert Goold.
Here’s the synopsis: “Step back into the sweltering summer of 1972, New York City—a time when the Vietnam War looms large, Watergate headlines flood the news, and one man’s desperate act captivates the nation. A Brooklyn bank hold up quickly goes wrong, and with each gut-wrenching twist that unfolds, chaos ensues that ignites the city as they follow the actions of a man on the edge.”
Get tickets now for Dog Day Afternoon. The official opening night is on March 30 and the limited engagement is scheduled to end on July 12.
