Another Rap Legend Joins T.I., Kanye, & Juvenile in Dropping New Albums in 2026

For music-loving millennials, 2026 is looking like a big win, as popular rappers from the late 90s and early 2000s are making a resurgence. In the first quarter of the year, both T.I. and Juvenile stormed the Billboard charts with instant hit songs. T.I. has fans bumping “Let Em Know” on repeat, and Juvenile partnered with Megan Thee Stallion on “B.B.B.”, prompting plenty to shake what their mama gave them. While T.I.’s upcoming album release has not yet been set, you can stream Juvenile’s new album, Boiling Point, right now. 

Joining these two rappers is the incredibly talented, though problematic, Kanye West, aka Ye. Bully, his 12th studio album, just dropped in a limited release on YouTube, and a number of critics and fans are already saying the album is reminiscent of classic West. 

With all that being said, it appears T.I., Juvenile, and Ye will be joined by another rap legend hoping to again make a splash on the charts. Snoop Dogg. 

Snoop Dogg Drops New Album in April, but New Film Is Out Now

Helping to ring in the spring season, Snoop Dogg is releasing his new album 10 Til' Midnight on April 10, 2026. The “Drop It Like It's Hot” rapper worked with some of hip hop’s greatest producers, Swizz Beatz and Pharrell Williams, on the album, and fans can expect to see features from Beatz, Peezy, Trinidad James, October London, and more. 

Additionally, the former The Voice coach dropped a music film on YouTube, also titled 10 Til' Midnight, on March 27. Clocking in at just over 30 minutes, the black and white film stars Snoop Dogg and highlights some of his new tracks. You can take a look at it below. 

What Legends Releasing New Music Means for Hip Hop

As a millennial, I love the fact that artists like T.I. and Juvenile are releasing new music, and that it’s good. The songs are fresh, yet reminders of why I was a fan in the first place. Additionally, not to sound like the old man in the room, but the early 2000s was a sweet spot for rap music in my opinion. So to see a resurgence of it in time for the summer is fantastic. Now, if only we could get Jay-Z to put out new music. Heck, he already is slated to come out of his hiatus and take the stage four times this year with select dates.
