Vice President Vance: Ilhan Omar ‘definitely’ committed immigration fraud
Long have there been headlines, backed by suggestive evidence, that Somali native Ilhan Omar, the Democrat congresswoman from a district populated by Somali immigrants in Minnesota, married her brother several years back to give him status to live in the U.S.
Now, according to Vice President JD Vance, the only questions are how to investigate and how to prosecute.
“We’re trying to look at what the remedies are. That’s the thing that we’re trying to figure out: What are the legal remedies now that we know that she’s committed immigration fraud? How do you go after her? How do you investigate, or how do you actually do the thing? How do you build the case necessary to get some justice for the American people?” the vice president said.

A report in the Washington Examiner said Vance’s comments came during an appearance on The Benny Show.
He, of course, has been tasked with tracking down fraud against America.
The report said, “An investigation by the Washington Examiner in 2019 found dozens of documents that indicate discrepancies within the congresswoman’s marriage statements. The allegations appeared to have gained traction in 2020 when a Minnesota man told the Daily Mail the Democratic congresswoman married her brother to help him gain citizenship in the U.S.
“The FBI reportedly investigated the matter that year, and President Donald Trump has continued to raise concerns that the allegations could be true,” the report said.
WorldNetDaily reported just weeks ago that U.S. Rep. Nancy Mace, R-S.C., when President Donald Trump authorized Operation Epic Fury, during which Iranian ayatollah Ali Khamenei was killed, sent “condolences” to two Muslims in Congress.
Omar then responded by accusing Mace of being drunk.
And Mace had a comeback.

Omar responded with some harsh, and unsubstantiated claims:
“I hope you aren’t drunk and took your staff’s advice, Rashida and I don’t know this man and feel confident he didn’t care about us. Please restrain from drinking too much as you have been warned from your staff and stay off social media when you are drunk. I pray in his (sic) holy month you find peace and respect for your self.”
Her holy month reference was to Ramadan.

“So tell me, what was it like being married to your brother?”
She cited allegations, supported by suggestive but not definitive evidence, that Omar at one point a few years ago married her brother to give him legal standing to remain in the United States.
The truth is a gray area in the case, as the family records in Somalia are not such that they can be searched and such claims documented. But federal officials have confirmed there are questions about exactly what occurred.
The Gateway Pundit commented that the exchange was “EPIC!”
The commentary said, “Following a heated exchange, Mace appeared on NewsMax with Ed Henry, where she responded to Ilhan Omar’s frustration that the attack occurred during Ramadan. ‘I don’t give a damn if it’s Ramadan. I don’t care if Muslims are fasting right now,’ Mace said. ‘This was the right time with the right Intel, the right President, to go in there and do this. I’m ready to denaturalize and deport her to Somalia.'”
The scandal is just one of many in which Omar is involved. Another involves the wealth she has built with her now-husband, apparently her third, or fourth if you count being married to one man twice. Their net worth exploded by tens of millions of dollars over the course of a year and critics wonder how.
There are only a few ways a U.S. citizen can lose his or her citizenship. But one absolute is that that can happen if a person commits fraud in order to gain citizenship.
Omar was married to Elmi Ahmed Nur Said Elmi from 2009 until 2017.
Coincidentally, the London Daily said this week a group linked to the Republican Party released a report, seemingly indicating that Omar married her own brother to get around the US immigration laws.
“The report does not identify either Omar or her former husband Ahmed Elmi, but simply as ‘Sibling 1′ and Sibling 2’. The report indicates there is 99.999998% that the two individuals are siblings, and it is believed that they are Omar and Elmi,” the London Daily said.
Omar repeatedly denied the allegations she married her brother.
Her issues are complicated as before she was married to Elmi, she was engaged to Ahmed Hirsi. They split in 2012, even though Omar was legally married to Elmi at the time, and got together again later.
