Gun Reform Advocates Calling Out the End
Tom Mauser, who lost his son Daniel in the 1999 Columbine High School massacre, spoke to TMZ about the big twist. He revealed how disgusted he was at Zendaya’s character confessing that she planned a high school shooting, but got cold feet at the last moment.
He claimed to TMZ that the movie “humanizes” shooters and “normalizes” the shootings.
Kristoffer Borgli Resurfaced Relationship With a Teen Girl
On March 26, a resurfaced essay from The Drama director Kristoffer Borgli detailed him justifying dating a 16-year-old child when he was 27 years old. (The age of consent in Norway is 16).
He wrote via The Hollywood Reporter, “The term ‘May-December’ is explained here as when the age difference between two people in a relationship is so large that it risks social disapproval. The reason I know this is because I met a girl ten years younger than me whom I liked very much – a girl who wasn’t old enough to vote – and I had to find something that could recalibrate my moral compass. The few friends I confided in about my situation responded that it was not ‘within bounds.’ That confirmed that it was precisely a May-December romance.”
He then said he “chose to listen to Woody over my friends,” referring to Woody Allen’s controversial romance in the film Manhattan.
It’s a truly disturbing essay to read.
