Check Out Chicken Shop Pop up with Buck’s Bar vs Ross County

THE STAGGIES are on the southside for Friday night football next month – and we have a Friday night feast in store at Bar 1867.

Club partners Buck’s Bar will be at The city Stadium for a special pop-up shop before the match with Ross County.

The rock’n’roll chicken restaurant are proud sponsors of the Spiders’ player of the month award and will be doing their bit to raise funds for Kilbryde Hospice with some pre-match food for supporters of both sides.

On offer will be a boneless chicken box, sides of tater tots, mac’n’cheese or cauliflower bites plus a selection of dips.

Meals will be priced at £10 and supporters are encouraged to get in quick – last season’s pop-up shop sold out of all special menu items in the Bar.

Ensure you’re not disappointed when doors open at 5.30pm – though the restaurant with a full menu service will be open just around the corner at 1021 Cathcart Road too.

Head of commercial Kieran Koszary said: “Bucks’ are a fantastic partner for the club here at Queen’s Park, sponsoring our monthly player awards.

“The team has enjoyed visits to the restaurant where they’ve sampled the legendary chicken wings – or even their famous milkshakes more recently.

“Our Design a Milkshake competition run in conjunction with the restaurant is an annual hit with our young supporters and local schools – and this year’s closes on the night of the match so if you haven’t already, get creative for a chance to win some fantastic prizes.”
